   النوازل الطبيعية سنة من سنن الله في الکون، تُرى ليل نهار، وتصيب البشرية بخيرها وشرها، فلکل عصر أدواته ووسائله، ولکل أهل زمان عاداتهم وأعرافهم الخاصة، وقد تميز هذا العصر عن العصور السابقة بالتطور المادي الکبير الذي شمل کافـة نواحي الحياة، وبخاصة في مجال العلـوم والتکنولوجيا، وقد اهتم القرآن الکريم بذکر النوازل، من حيث بيان بواعثها وآثارها، مما تناوله القرآن الکريم بالوصف والبيان، وتشمل النوازل الزلازل والبراکين والأمواج العاتية (الطوفان) والجدب، وبيان وصف القرآن الکريم لهذه الظواهر، واستنباط بواعثها وأهدافها، فمن أهم بواعث النوازل الطبيعية في القرآن الکريم: الابتلاء، وإظهار قدرة الله تعالى، فيمن کفر وکذب الرسل، وفي ذات الوقت تکون عقاباً للطغيان، والترف، وکثرة الذنوب والمعاصي، وعليه فيترتب على هذه النوازلالکثير من الآثار الدينية والاجتماعية والبيئية.

    Natural calamities are a year of God’s Sunnah in the universe. They are seen day and night, and they afflict mankind with its good and evil. Every age has its tools and means, and all people of a time have their own customs and customs. This age was distinguished from previous ages by the great material development that included all aspects of life, especially in the field of science. And technology, the Noble Qur’an has been concerned with mentioning calamities, in terms of explaining their motives and effects, from what the Noble Qur’an has dealt with in a description and explanation. The calamities include earthquakes, volcanoes, tidal waves (floods) and drought, and the Qur’an’s description of these phenomena, and the derivation of their motives and goals. The Noble Qur’an: Affliction, and the manifestation of God Almighty’s power in those who disbelieve and lie the Messengers, and at the same time they are a punishment for tyranny, luxury, and the proliferation of sins and transgressions, and accordingly these afflictions have many religious, social and environmental effects.
