القرآن الکريم کلام الله بلفظه ومعناه، وهو الأمر الذي نتمسک به، ونلقى عليه الله، بينما الحداثيون الذين بعدوا عن دين الإسلام، وهم يحملون أسماء إسلامية حاولوا الإتيان بشبهات ظنوها تبطل حجية القرآن الکريم من الناحية العقدية، ولأنهم حداثيون استعملوا عقولهم فيما لا يجب استعماله بشأنها فتعرضوا لتعريف القرآن وتسمياته بما لا يليق، فکان الرد عليهم بما تنتهي معه شبهاتهم، ثم لجأوا إلى إحياء شبهات قديمة وغيروا فيها؛ فکان الحاصل هو ما وقع لسابقيهم.
ثم ذکروا شبهات حول کتابة القرآن وتدوينه، وأنکروا الحقائق، وزيفوا في المقولات، فتم عرضها ومناقشتها حتى بان فسادها.
غير أنهم لم يتوقفوا عند هذا الحد، وإنما لجأوا إلى جوانب أخرى کان من الضروري عرضها، وبيان فسادها من النواحي العلمية والتاريخية.
لقد زعموا تاريخية القرآن وعدم جدواه في الوقت الحاضر، وزعموا أن کتابته لم تتم إلا في القرن الرابع، وفرقوا بين ما أطلقوا عليه اسم القرآن الشفوي، والمصحف التحريري، وقد قصدوا بذلک الطعن علي القرآن من کافة النواحي، وقد ارتد طعنهم إليهم من خلال التاريخ الذي اعتمدوا عليه.
لقد أنکروا الحقائق الإلهية، وبحثوا عن أهواء شياطين إنسانية تمسکوا بها وأذاعوها علي نبي خير البرية، ورد الله عليهم سهامهم إلي نحورهم، فصاروا أکذوبة تاريخية دالة علي جهلهم باستخدام أقيسة فاسدة، والتشبع بأحکام سبقيه فيها العداء على الإسلام دين رب البرية، بجانب خلطهم بين ما يتعلق بالوحي الإلهي وما يجئ به من قواعد إلهية، بجانب إسقاطهم الأحکام التي قررها اليهود والنصارى بشأن کتابة کتبهم، واعتبروا ذلک مما يطبق على القرآن الکريم حتى يصلوا إلي غايتهم وهى الاستغناء عن کلام الله، والتمسک بکلام ما سواه.
ثم إن هؤلاء تابعوا المستشرقين في عدائهم للإسلام دينا، ومصادر، ورجالا، فجمعوا بين عناصر مختلفة دالة علي أنهم يئسوا من رحمة الله، وقد رد القرآن عليهم بعبارة معجزة مبينا أن القرآن منزلا من عند الله وأن الحافظ له هو الله وسوف يظل الذکر محفوظا في قلوب المؤمنين وعقولهم لان فيه الشفاء والرحمة، وزيادة الخير، والله غالب علي أمره، والحمد لله.
The Holly Qur’an is the word of God, in both form and content, which is something that we adhere to, and we shall believe in this till the end of our worldly life and being resurrected. However, the modernists who went away from the right path of Islamic religion, holding Islamic names, tried to come up with misconceptions that they thought invalidate the authenticity of the Holy Qur’an dogmatically, and because they are modernists who used their minds in what should not be used in relation to such dogma. Whereas, they tackled defining the Qur’an and its names inappropriately, but the Islamic scholars responded to their misconceptions, then they resorted to reviving and rephrasing old misconceptions, but again the Islamic scholars responded to their rephrased misconceptions.
Afterwards, they mentioned misconceptions regarding the writing and keeping a record of Qur’an, as they denied the facts, and misquoted statements out of context, but the Islamic scholars addressed misconceptions, misquotations and misstatements and succeeded in proving the same invalid and deficient.
However, they did not stop to that limit, but resorted to other aspects that were necessary for the Islamic scholars to tackle and explain the deficiency of their misconceptions, scientifically and historically.
They claimed that Qur’an is old-fashioned and that it is useless at the present time. They claimed that it was only written in the fourth century, and they differentiated between what they called the oral Qur’an and the written Qur’an. In that way, they intended to challenge the Qur’an in all respects, and their challenge was inapposite, as the history they relied on was proven to be false.
They denied the divine facts, and searched for, held on to, and spread some human demons’ misopinions on the Prophet, the best human in the world ever. Yet, some Islamic scholar came up to counter-challenge such misopinions, till such demons were declared historically to be ignorant deep-liars, as they used invalid inferences, relied on prejudiced viewpoints against Islam, the only [true] religion in the sight of God, mixed between what is related to the divine revelation and the divine rules that come with it, tried to prove that the unenforcement of some rulings as decided by the Jews and Christians regarding their books, is just as applicable to the Holy Qur’an, so as to reach their goal of dispensing with the words of God and adhering to the words of the least knowing of people whomsoever.
Moreover, those modernists followed the steps of the orientalists in the latter’s’ hostility to Islam religion, sources, and scholars, as they combined different elements indicating that they had given up on the mercy of God. Qur’an responded to them with categorical words, as Qur’an was revealed from God and that He will assuredly guard it (from corruption). The Reminder (Qur’an) will remain preserved in the hearts and minds of the believers, because Qur’an is a healing and a mercy to those who believe, and it increases them in faith, and Allah has full power and control over His affairs; but most among mankind know it not. This said, and all praise shall exclusively be due to Allah alone.
