يتلخص بحث "من روى عن أبي أمامة في المعجم الکبير ولم يخرج له أحمد في المسند" في جمع هذه الروايات ودراستها، وبيان الصحيح منها، والضعيف، حيث بلغ عدد الرواة عنه في المعجم الکبير اثنين وخمسين (52) راويا، وبلغت مروياتهم إحدى عشرة ومائة (111) رواية. أخرج الشيخان منها إحدى عشرة (11) رواية: اتفق البخاري ومسلم على ثلاث (3) روايات، وانفرد البخاري بسبع (7) روايات، ومسلم بواحدة. عدد الثقات من الرواة: عشرون (20) راويا، ومروياتهم أربع وعشرون (24) رواية. وعدد المجاهيل منهم عشرون (20) راويا، ومروياتهم ثلاث وعشرون (23) رواية. والضعفاء منهم خمسة (5) رواة، ومروياتهم عشرة (10) رواية. وأخيرا المراسيل فقد بلغوا سبعة (7) رواة، وبلغت مروياتهم أربعا وخمسين (54) رواية. وبلغت عدد الروايات المقبولة عن أبي أمامة في المعجم الکبير، والتي لم يخرجها الإمام أحمد في المسند ستاً وعشرين (26) رواية، والباقي ستا وثمانين (86) رواية غير مقبولة ما بين ضعيفة، وضعيفة جدا. ونتج عن هذا البحث أن مدرسة أبي أمامة الباهلي، ليست من المدارس الراسخة قدما في علم الرواية، بل يغلب على رواتها الضعف، ولا تکاد تجد فيهم عينا أو رأسا من أهل الرواية والحديث.

As a result of this research, the school of Abi Umamah Al-Bahili is not one of the well-established schools in the science of narration, but its narrators are mostly weak, and you hardly find in them an eye or a head of the people of narration and hadith.
