تناول البحث دراسة حديث معاذ بن جبل t دراسة حديثية، ففي الدراسة تم دراسة الحديث بجمع طرقه من مصادره، وتبين أن مدار الحديث هو عبد الرحمن بن عائش الحضرمي، وأنه من جملة التابعين ولا يعد صحابياً، لعدم صحة سماعه من النبي r، وأن هذا الحديث لا يثبت عن النبي r من وجهه الراجح؛ حيث نص الأئمة على وجود الاضطراب فيه
